Send photos of the kitchen and bathrooms for a price
Photos of the kitchen, the bathrooms and the worst room tell us more than a description. Add the home size and which appliance add-ons you want, and we reply with a price.
Appliance cleaning add-ons
An oven or fridge can take a good while on its own, so these are added to a deep clean when you want them rather than included by default.
Oven
Racks removed and soaked, baked-on grease scraped from the floor and walls of the oven, the door glass cleaned between the panes where it can be reached.
Fridge and freezer
Emptied with your help, shelves and drawers taken out and washed, door seals wiped clean of the gunk that collects in the folds.
Range hood
The hood exterior degreased and the metal filter taken down and soaked, which often makes the fan noticeably quieter.
Microwave and dishwasher
Microwave interior steamed and wiped; dishwasher filter removed and rinsed, the door seal and the spray arms checked for debris.
When to book a deep clean
The most common time is just before a regular schedule starts. If a home has gone a few months without a thorough clean, the first deep clean brings it to a baseline. After that, a weekly or every-two-weeks visit only has to maintain it.
Spring and fall are the other usual times. Homes across the GTA spend the winter shut tight with the furnace running, and the dust shows in vents and on baseboards. A seasonal deep clean is also a natural time to do the oven and range hood.
Renovations are a separate case: drywall dust settles on every horizontal surface, inside cabinets and in vent covers, and it keeps resurfacing until someone wipes everything down properly. Tell us what work was done, because fine dust needs more passes than ordinary dust.
Before guests or a big family event, before listing a home for sale, or after a long illness or a new baby when the house has fallen behind. If you are moving out, book a move-out clean instead; it is built around an empty home.
Getting the home ready
Clear the counters
Small appliances, mail and dish racks put away so we can scrub the surface and the grout behind it.
Say what matters most
If the shower glass is what bothers you, say so and we will start there.
Flag delicate surfaces
Natural stone, unsealed wood and antique finishes need different products. Tell us before we start.
Plan for pets
Keep them in one room or out of the house; a deep clean moves furniture and runs the vacuum longer.
Your questions, answered
Before you book
How much does deep cleaning cost in the GTA?
Deep cleaning is priced by the job. The size of the home, how long since its last thorough clean and the appliance add-ons you pick all change the time. Send photos and we reply with a price.
How long does a deep clean take?
Noticeably longer than a regular visit for the same home, because every surface is detailed rather than wiped. We give you a time estimate with the price once we have seen photos.
Is oven cleaning included in a deep clean?
Oven, fridge and range hood cleaning are add-ons you choose, because each takes real time. Add them when you request a price and we include them in the job.
Do you move furniture to clean behind it?
We move furniture that can be moved safely, such as chairs, side tables and light dressers, to clean behind and under it. Very heavy pieces like a loaded bookcase stay put unless you clear them first.
Should my first regular clean be a deep clean?
Usually, yes, if the home has not had a thorough clean in a while. It brings everything to a level that a recurring schedule can keep without each visit running long.
Can you deep clean after a renovation?
Yes. Tell us what was done, such as drywall, flooring or a kitchen, so we plan for the fine dust that settles inside cabinets and vents.
