Cleaning · 2 min read
Regular clean or deep clean? Choose by the job.
The right clean depends on the condition of the rooms and the details you want tackled. Start with priorities rather than a package name.

At a glance
Your quick checklist
- Top three priorities listed
- Current condition described or photographed
- Interior appliance work discussed
- Written task list and price agreed
Think maintenance versus catch-up
A regular clean supports the routine upkeep of rooms you use every day. A deeper clean gives more attention to areas with accumulated dust, grease or neglected detail. These labels do not define the exact task list, so ask what is included rather than relying on the name alone.
Choose the three things you notice most
Perhaps the bathroom needs attention, kitchen surfaces feel greasy or baseboards have been missed for months. List the most important areas first. Photos can help explain the condition and make it easier to decide what can realistically fit into the visit.
Ask about the hidden surfaces
Inside an oven, inside a fridge and inside cupboards are different from wiping their exterior surfaces. Mention those tasks explicitly. Also flag delicate materials, areas that need special access and rooms that will remain occupied during the clean.
Agree on a practical starting point
If the home needs a substantial catch-up, ask about one detailed visit followed by a maintenance schedule. If only one area needs extra work, a focused scope may be more useful. Confirm the price and task list for your home; moving rates are not cleaning rates.
