Use labels that name the stop

Collect photos of stairs, doorways and loading positions at every stop. The most difficult entrance may be at a brief furniture pickup rather than the main home. Mention large or delicate pieces separately, including their measurements where available. Make sure the person at that stop knows when access is needed and can answer questions about the item.

Keep a change from becoming a surprise
If the inventory or route changes after the quote, send the updated details before moving day. Include items newly purchased, furniture now staying behind and any change to the destination access time. The team can discuss whether the vehicle and timing still fit. Do not assume a stop is included because it is nearby; carrying, access and waiting all take time. Keep a copy of the agreed stops and item groups with you, along with the contact for each address. Ask for the billing assumptions to be written down so the planned route and the final moving scope stay connected.
