Label the destination, not the department
For a commercial move, give each desk or room a clear destination number. Use the same reference on furniture, cartons and the floor plan. That lets the crew place items once, instead of moving identical desks repeatedly while someone works out where they should go.
Agree on building access
Ask about loading entrances, elevator times and permission to move furniture through shared areas. Send the restrictions for both properties, even when the move stays within Markham. A workable arrival time needs to fit the buildings as well as the people who will open the doors.

Pack a working day separately
Keep the equipment needed immediately after arrival in an easy-to-identify group. For a home office, that could be a laptop stand, charger, keyboard and one monitor; for a business, it might be the reception setup and essential files. Tell the team which furniture must be accessible first. Do not bury fragile screens beneath general cartons or leave cables attached where they can snag. If you need packing support, describe the devices and breakables before the visit so the materials can be discussed. Once the larger items are in place, a separately quoted cleaning or home-setup visit can be planned around the remaining work rather than interrupting the unload.

Will you reconnect computers after a commercial move?
The moving service covers the agreed transport and furniture work. Network connections, account access and IT commissioning should be organized with your IT provider. If you also need a home theatre or smart-home installation, request that scope separately before booking.
How much do movers in Markham cost?
Our vehicle packages are $100, $120 or $130 per hour with two movers. The final total depends on billable time and agreed extras. HST and packing materials are additional; ask about minimum hours and travel billing before booking.
