Want the oven and fridge cleaned? Say what is inside.
Appliance interiors need their own scope and preparation. Agree on contents, access and care instructions before the visit.

At a glance
Your quick checklist
- Each appliance and target area named
- Contents-removal plan agreed
- Manufacturer care guidance available
- Movement and disconnection limits clarified
Name the appliances and the task
An exterior wipe is different from cleaning oven racks, fridge shelves or the space beneath an appliance. Send the model if you have it, along with a photo showing the condition. List the parts you want included so the quote reflects the work you expect.
Decide who empties everything
Ask whether you need to remove food, containers and loose accessories before the appointment. Plan somewhere suitable for the contents while the work happens. Do not leave that decision until the team is at the door, especially when the kitchen is still in everyday use.
Follow the appliance’s care instructions
Special coatings, self-cleaning functions and removable parts can have different care requirements. Have the manufacturer’s instructions available and flag known damage or faults. A cleaning appointment is not an appliance repair visit; mention any operational problem separately.
Be clear about access
Tell the team if an appliance is built in, difficult to reach or requires moving to access the area behind it. Do not assume disconnection or heavy appliance movement is included. Confirm those limits and agree what will be checked at the end of the clean.
