Start with the clean you actually need
Optimum quotes cleaning for the job rather than publishing one price for every home. The moving packages shown elsewhere on this site are moving rates; they are not house cleaning prices. For an accurate cleaning quote, describe the property and what you want finished. Regular cleaning focuses on an agreed maintenance list. A deep clean may need more attention to built-up grime, edges and neglected surfaces. Move-in or move-out cleaning depends on whether the rooms and cupboards are empty. A two-bedroom home that is maintained weekly and one needing a first deep clean can have very different task lists.
Send a short room-by-room brief
Include the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, approximate size and whether the property is furnished. Describe areas that need extra attention instead of trying to diagnose the products or methods required. Photos of an oven, shower, kitchen or cluttered room can make the scope easier to discuss. Tell the team about pets and any product sensitivities before choosing supplies. If you are booking for a tenant handover, share the agreed cleaning checklist and the time you need access returned. The quote should be based on those tasks, not on a guarantee that another person will return a deposit.
Compare the same tasks on every quote
Ask each provider to mark what is included, what is an add-on and what is outside the agreed work. Inside appliances, inside cupboards and accessible interior windows should be discussed explicitly. Do not assume that “deep clean” means every possible task. Also confirm whether the team brings supplies and whether anything needs to be emptied before arrival. If one quote leaves out oven cleaning, it is not directly comparable with a quote that includes it.
Arrange the visit in a practical order
For a move-out, schedule the clean after the belongings are removed and before the handover. Leave water, electricity and safe access available for the visit. In a condo, ask the building contact about entry and parking for the cleaner; a moving elevator reservation does not automatically cover a separate cleaning visit. For an occupied home, put away personal items and identify rooms that cannot be entered. These details help the team plan the work and explain any timing limits before you book.
Get the final scope in writing
Ask for the price, applicable tax, task list and treatment of additional work before agreeing to the booking. Confirm the cancellation or rescheduling terms directly with the team. If you later add an appliance or another room, send the update before the visit and ask whether the quote changes. A useful comparison is the total for your actual checklist, not an advertised starting price for an unspecified job. To request an Optimum quote, send your postal code, room count, preferred date and the type of clean through the cleaning service page.
