Moving, cleaning and installing: put the jobs in the right order.

One request can cover several jobs, but the order still matters. Plan around empty rooms, heavy lifting and the moment you need each space usable.

At a glance

Your quick checklist

  • Room-by-room priorities
  • Jobs ordered by access and dependencies
  • Separate scope and price for each service
  • Dates, contacts and handovers confirmed
01

Write the outcome for each room

Instead of a general “help us move in” request, list the result you need: a clean kitchen, an assembled bed, a mounted TV or cameras set up. Identify what must be ready on the first day and what can wait until the following week.

02

Group tasks by access

An empty-home clean is easier before boxes arrive. Large furniture should reach its final room before assembly. Installations may need a clear wall and working area after delivery. Share these dependencies so the team can propose a practical order rather than scheduling every task at the same time.

03

Keep the scopes separate and visible

For each service, confirm the price basis, materials, access and expected result. Published hourly moving packages do not establish the price for cleaning or installation. Request a breakdown so you can decide which jobs to book now and which to leave for later.

04

Confirm the people and the handovers

Ask whether jobs happen on the same day, who coordinates them and what happens if access changes. Availability must be confirmed for the complete plan. Keep one written list of agreed tasks and contacts, then review each stage before the next begins.
